YMCA Camp Kici Yapi is a day camp located in Prior Lake. The camp attracts more than 5000 campers a summer, from all over Minneapolis and the South Metro. The camp hosts many types of traditional activities such as swimming, canoeing, climbing, team building games, arts-n-crafts and more. And our horse program is a big hit! Staff working with horses will assist campers ages 6-14 with beginning and intermediate horse skills. This position is for summer employment from beginning of June through end of August, with opportunities for working small group lessons/trail rides in the Spring and/or Fall seasons. Job requirements will vary by week. All barn staff/counselors are responsible for basic care and safety for all 52 horses at camp along with the mission of the YMCA Day Camp.
